woah.. today is a long day at the zoo! haha.. My legs are aching from all the walking! hahaha. Met Derek at about 7.15am at AMK mrt station. We went to a hawker centre to eat our breakfast. Yucks. Wrong choice. The wan ton mee tasted weird. haha.. Went to NTUC where Derek bought some snacks, one of which is a bottle of coffee choc. The coffee smell is really strong. Fragrant. Lol. We then went to the POSB bank to queue up cos Derek wana draw money out for his allowance this mth. Rich guy. haha.. No lah. richer than me cos my SIP no pay mah. Sobz. remind me of my sad case. TP bias lor! haiz. Anyway, went to meet up with Kieth at the interchange. Took bus 138 to Mandai Zoo. Didnt expect the ride to be so fast. Haha. Maybe cos it's early in the morning? lolx. We were the first to reach. Waited for the rest of Derek's colleagues. After dragging awhile, we bought tix and enter.

Luckily we went in the morning cos morning has the most activities. The feeding time starts at 10.30am for the monkeys! haha.. There's one baby monkey who kept clinging onto her mom. So cute. They are very smart lor. Know how to ask for more bananas by stretching out their hands. Haha. There was an animal show starting at 11.30am, I think. So we walked there. Ate lunch at KFC. One of Derek's colleague, Keith's poly fren (also attached to 1st Base), was telling jokes and riddles. Funny thing is.. I can't laugh. Lol. They sat and talked for quite a bit. Derek rather walk around and look at more things. So we went ahead. They were super slow behind lah. Haha. As we walked different routes, we ended up trying to chase them few hrs lata. Haha. Met at Sea lions / Penguins section. Finally. Haha. Cos 2 more gals joined us lata in the aftn, we walked through the same places again. Derek and I had already walked like 3 rounds already? We really made our $15 worth it man. Lol. It's no wonder that my legs ache so badly now lor. But gd exercise for napfa I guess. Haha. Hmm.. overall quite a gd day ba. Saw quite a no. of interesting animals. But it was really hot man. Perspired like mad. Haha.

Just some extra info. If u wana go to the zoo, bring water although there are a few watercoolers ard somewhr. haha. Bring your own tibits as well. If u wan of cos. u dun wana buy them thr i tell u. one pkt of potato chips can cost $1.50 when it only costs 40 cents at the mama shop. One 500 ml bottle of coke, pepsi, 100 plus can cost $2.90. They earn a lot man. haha. Oh ya, they were screening for Charlotte's web for 5 bucks. But we didnt go. Haha. Tired out. Btw, I find Keith resembles Alvin. Really look alike lor. Small eyes and the way he talks. Haha.

Btw, I did run last monday after the rain stopped. Haha. My legs ached badly then too. Lol. Boy is my stamina poor. Beta start my intensive training soon. Haha.
