Since I can't post pictures, I can't blog about my birthday bash again! =( Haha.. Anyway, 5 days of Asia Conference 2008 is over! Aww.. I miss it already. =( Nvm, just have to wait 2 more years for another one. Haha.. Other than the LONG and suffocating (HOT!) wait of queuing (too many delegates!!), everything was brillant! It was worth it! Tho' I have fallen sick on the 2nd last day (I think its cos of exposure to too much aircon and lack of rest), I don't regret a bit that I went. Simply amazing! I'm sure all those who went agree with me! =D
Asia Conference is simply awesome! Tho' there are only 37 Asian countries, there were delegates from a total of 72 countries! Woo! This means that the conference was so influential that it attracted not only the Asian countries but people all around the world! =)
AC has really been an eye opener for me. So many inspiring messages and most importantly, magnificent encounters with God! =D Pastors Phil Pringle, Christine Pringle, A. R. Bernard, Benny Hinn, Ulf Ekman and Kong Hee are awesome! The move of God was so evident in the place, esp. Pst Benny Hinn's session where healings were witnessed all over the place! Wow~ I'm so proud of Pst. Kong and Sun for all that they're doing in this generation. *Applaud* =)
Praise and worship were conducted by the Christian City Church (CCC) Band, Don Moen, Carola Haggkvist, True Worshippers and most of all City Harvest Church (CHC) Band!! *whistles* Their latest album is the "Light of the City". Oh man.. I love the new songs! I love the title too! Basically, I love CHC! =D
Vivi Wang, Liu Gen Hong and some Taiwanese artistes came to sing the songs in an album they collaborated together too! There was a special appearance by JJ Lin as well! We heard his latest song "xiao jiu wo" LIVE! Are you jealous? Haha.. He then went over to Hall 10 for his concert and we can hear the screams at Hall 8! Haha.. He's truly living out the cultural mandate. Way to go JJ! =)
Above all these, the famous Petrina Fung Bo Bo came too! Her testimony was inspiring. She has such a jovial spirit in her. Amazing~
The "Special" musical performed by the Children and Jams Church was so meaningful and touching! I'm sure before watching this musical, many wouldn't believe that a girl with Down's Syndrome can actually act and sing. But Lynn did it! Lynn and Natasha were the female leads. I must say that Natasha's voice is beautiful! They were both fantastic! This musical inspires me to really love and accept people around me, especially those who are very different. Great job guys! =D
There are simply too many things to share. In a nutshell, it's a fabulous week of inspiration and impartation! I'm so anticipative of Asia Conference 2010! =D
Last but not least, I want to thank my darling Brendan for being there with me throughout. When I fell sick, he was there to take care of me, encourage and pray for me. Even though he was exhausted as well, he remained strong. Darling, I must say that you're really strong! I'm always amazed by your capacity to handle so many things. You remained strong despite being pressed in from so many directions. You're truly living out what God says in 2 Cor 4:8-10. "We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down but not destroyed - always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body." You are my role model dear! You deserve a round of applause. *claps claps*
Your exams are approaching in less than a week, yet your commitment and faith level in God has never wavered. Amazing dear! So, don't ever underestimate your abilities and strengths! I strongly believe that what you sow in this Asia Conference, be it your time, serving or money, you'll be bountifully blessed in all areas of your life, especially your upcoming exams! You're gona score excellent results my dear! Because the God we know, is faithful and true. Amen!! =D
