Woo! I just had my keyboard test today!
Guess what?
Jessica commented that I performed very very well!
But that wasn't what that encouraged me the most.
What encouraged me the most was that she said she felt I truly worshipped God;
I didn't just play technically.

Wow~ That was what I wanted!
I prayed today that when I play, it would be to worship Him.
It would not just be a test for me but a time of worshiping and glorifying His name.

The most amazing thing is that I only prepared my song the night before!
And I didn't really feel very ready.
BUT I put God FIRST.
I kept worshiping and praying to Him.
I TRUSTED God.
"Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."
Indeed, God is a gracious God.
When I put Him first, when I trusted Him wholeheartedly, He showed me His grace and mercy.
I really wana thank Brendan for sharing with me the importance of FAITH.

All these while, I've only been having head knowledge about having faith in God.
But I didn't truly experience the meaning of having faith in God.

He shared with me that we should always do things out of the motivation of faith.
When we do things out of fear, it will definitely turn out bad.
And I mean REAL bad!

I used to have this mindset of "Oh no. I've not been practising my keyboard. I'm not gona do well. How how how???"
And indeed whatever my motivation is, there my result will be.

I realised that my attitude, the motivation behind my learning to play the keyboard was wrong!
And when I begin to change my attitude, begin to pray more and lean on His strength, God turned things around for me.
So our job is to have faith in God and God's job is to pour down His grace on us.
Us = Faith.
God = Grace
That's how God moves!
Simple isn't it? =D
And if you tell me its cos I have talents that I'm able to play the keyboard well.
Oh no you're wrong!
Cos I can frankly admit to you that I do not have that natural gifting like certain people do.
But because my God is a good God, He answers my heart's desire.
And it's only when you truly trust that God will provide, He will anoint you.
When God gives you a vision, He will definitely give you the provision.
