Met Dear and Mel ytd to shop for Liping's birthday gifts.
Belle and Kenrus joined us later.
Woo! It felt great shopping with all of them!
It felt even greater that all of us got what we wanted for her! =D
Feels great and am excited for the surprise we planned for her celebration!
Shh.. don't tell her.
No worries, I'll only publish this post when the birthday surprise is over.
Smart right? HAHA.



The most exciting part is Victor and Liping are shopping ytd too and might go to Marina Square.
Luckily we're have already liased with Victor. Heh heh. =p
I think the cute thing is that I got to know Liping's shoe size and even waist size. Lol.
But don't even think of asking me. I'm not telling. Haha..


I can't wait for friday! I wanna see how Liping will react to our surprise! Tsk tsk.
I can't wait for Festival of Praise this sat too!
This weekend is really exciting! =D

Woo! Today's Discipleship was simply awesome!
We were allocated a person to pray for.
Amazingly, Brendan and I were to pray for each other. Haha.


When we started going round to pray for each other, I felt something in both my hands.
The feeling was getting stronger and stronger as each person took turns to pray.
It felt like electricity!
When it was my turn to pray, it was at its fullest potential!
For a moment, I felt like laying my hands on Brendan. Haha.
I felt it wasn't me who was praying but someone much greater. =)


The presence of God was so strong.
The anointing of the Holy Spirit. Simply amazes me.
Indeed praying in tongues is powerful!
Do not despise it! =D

Recently, when I was reading the bible, I received a revelation.


2 Cor 2:14-15


"Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place." (v.14)


"For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing." (v.15)


The words "through us" in verse 14 reminded me of Ps. Kong's sermon last week. God uses man. Then verse 15 says that we are to God fragrance of Christ.


So God wants to use us as a sweet aroma to spread (diffuse) His love to the world. Though in the verse it says "His knowledge", my impression was His love for us.


And the more amazing thing I learnt was this. Being fragrance of Christ means we are nice smelling. So, naturally people are attracted to us! =)


As I read on to 2 Cor 3, in verse 5 to 6 it says "...our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient..." Since God made us sufficient, it means we're good enough. We're adequate before Him. =)


Not only that, verse 6 also says "...the Spirit gives life." So, God made us good enough to bring life to the people around us by His Spirit.


His grace is sufficient for us. Amen.

Of course!
What else can you do except to seek the One who renews your strength?
PRAY!


Btw, praying doesn't simply mean asking God to answer all your desires.
Praying actually means spending time connected to God.
Staying in communion with Him.
So, praying can actually mean dwelling in His presence.
You don't have to speak sometimes.
He knows your every thought.
He just wants you to spend time with Him.
Just like our earthly father, He wants His kids to be with Him, to spend QUALITY time with Him.

If you're feeling spiritually dry, tired (be it physically, emotionally, mentally), the only way to step out of it is to seek God.

Find rest in Christ.
